Lia's Half Year Birthday

Time sure does fly as it seems like yesterday we were bundling her up into her car seat and taking her home from the birthing center. She went from this little 7 lb newborn you could easily hold in one hand to a 17 lb infant who you can barely hold as she squirms her way out of your arms.

Besides just looking at her and watching her every move, being able to witness things such as her first smile, first laugh, first grasp of an item and first food are things you realize can’t be taken lightly. We take them for granted as things we do without thinking but for her, she’s just figuring it all out and watching the cogs inside of her head turn in order to understand each and every precise movement can’t be described as anything besides amazing.
