Happy Halloween
October 31, 2015
We spent this halloween in our new house, in our new neighborhood and had a blast. But before we left San Diego, we did a little pre-gaming to give Lia some practice on how to trick-or-treat by visiting SeaWorld for their Halloween Spooktacular with Uncle Devin, Aunt Becky and cousin Devin. Little Devin finally got to ride Journey to Atlantis as well.
Arriving in Atlanta, we had very little time to get any kind of decorations to setup our new house so a last minute scramble to find a few things occurred the day of. Lia was ready to go, however no one was out in the street walking around yet so we waited patiently before heading out to our first house. After hitting a couple houses and meeting a few neighbors, we came back home to start handing out candy to the rest of the kids. We bought a few bags from the store thinking we were fine…we weren’t. By 8:30, we ran out and there were more and more kids hitting the neighborhood. Luckily, that’s about when Lia told us it was time to go to bed so we quickly packed up our decorations due to storm coming in and headed back to our temporary housing.
All in all, we had a blast and Lia absolutely loved walking up to each house in her cute little giraffe costume so we look forward to next year when she’s walking and can stay up a little longer.
