Animal Farm

One of the benefits of home schooling is taking advantage of learning programs that exist in your community. A local family owned farm charges a small fee and allows school aged kids to come in and learn about what it takes to run a farm. The kids got to do some crafts, ride a horse, pet & feed a donkey, hold bunnies, and play with the other animals that roam the property. Lia loved riding the horse, Nora not so sure. But Nora did enjoy giving the donkey his carrots though and they both were infatuated by the three cats on the property.
