Lia's Girl Scout Fundraiser

This year Lia decided she wanted to do Girl Scouts so she signed up as a Daisy. One of her first tasks like many new Girl Scouts is to fundraise money for their upcoming year. While Lia will be selling Girl Scout cookies in January (stay tuned for that announcement), she’s currently raising money by selling magazines (paper & digital) as well as chocolate & nut tins.

Not going to lie, if you’re not local to us the shipping costs are quite high since they only use FedEx but considering the sizes of the tins even if we were to buy them and ship them we’d be spending about that much as well. If the shipping is a deterrent, which I completely understand, consider donating instead to the Treats4Goods which benefits first responders and healthcare workers.

Those local to us, however, can choose the “Girl Delivered” option where Lia will deliver your items to you personally once they come in…our at a distance if that is your preference. If Lia is able to reach her goal, she’ll receive a personalized patch she gets to add to her vest as well as raise money for her troop.
